Why downlod the tableread APP? - Unknown Artist
00:0000:00

"New app tableread changes the filmmaking game."

 Backstage

"While the free version is impressive, the Pro version is pretty amazing."

 The Beat

Tableread is an invaluable tool for my writing process. It helps me get a sense of the flow and timing of my script, and it enables me to determine if the dialogue sounds natural and isn't repetitive. Hearing it read aloud often sparks ideas and inspiration as well. I can't recommend it enough!

Christine Rose

I have really benefited from the app, been able to edit my script in a different, highly useful way.

FAQ

Why doesn't my tableread begin reading from the start of the document?
tableread will start the read form where you left off last time. First time reads will also try to ignore the scripts title page(s). You can toggle Read Title Page in SETTINGS.

I am having errors importing a script, what can I do?
tableread works by parsing scripts that have been correctly formatted using screenplay or stageplay(UK or US) formats. Please make certain that this is the case. You must import a PDF file with live text - meaning, the text can be selected and not flat as a scanned PDF would be.

I'm only hearing one voice reading?

FREE mode will only ready from using your devices native text to speech voice. If you have subscribed to PRO and are still getting this issue then make sure you don't have Narrator Reads All checked in SETTINGS. Additional voices also need to be downloaded separately (at no cost) so you may not have the voice that has been assigned to your character.

Why can't I create a NOTE or EDIT?

Make sure you are subscribed to PRO and have filled out My Name and My Relation in SETTINGS.

I've subscribed to PRO but it's running FREE mode?

Please check your subscriptions on your devices settings. It may be that your credit card has expired or another reason like that. Subscribing again will NOT charge you if you have a valid subscription. It will just prompt the App or Google Play store to find your valid subscription receipt.

Why can't I change the Script Details of some Projects?

The likely reason is that you have imported a script that was configured by another tableread user. Only the person who exported the script can change the Script Details in project settings.
